Dr. Ashish Chhitwal is a native of New Delhi, India, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in Biology. After completion of his undergraduate studies, he went on to study at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his Doctorate in Optometry. He completed his Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio, where he specialized in the treatment of and management of complex ocular diseases
Dr. Rohini Mehta (B.S., O.D.) has been in practice for nearly a decade, having worked in various clinical settings in Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, New York City, and Washington DC, gathering a wealth of broad-range experience. Dr. Mehta earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York in Manhattan. While finishing her doctorate degree, she participated in a volunteer mission to Nicaragua, where she provided eye care services, glasses, and eye medications to underprivileged children and adults. Her clinical interests are ocular disease, contact lenses, and refractive surgery co-management.
Dr. Edie Cheung grew up in Philadelphia. She speaks Cantonese fluently and can also communicate in Hakka Chinese. Dr. Cheung holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Information Technology from Drexel University and a Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has a special interest in ocular diseases and is passionate about caring for the overall health of her patients. Dr. Cheung has volunteered her time to provide eye care services for the Special Olympics and participated in a mission trip to Jamaica, where she performed eye exams and treated citizens who lacked easy access to eye care.
Dr. AnnMarie DeSando is an eye doctor in Arlington, VA, originally from Fredericksburg, VA. She completed her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary, before attending the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. While completing her doctorate degree, she completed clinical rotations at East Boston Community Health Center and Boston Medical Center. After completing optometry school, Dr. DeSando completed her residency with the Hudson Valley Veterans Affairs Health Care System in New York , specializing in primary care optometry and ocular disease.

Dr. Varela is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist with experience providing comprehensive eye care. Known for her commitment to patient education, Dr. Varela works closely with each individual to ensure their vision and ocular health needs are met with personalized care. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, then traveled to Texas for his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
