Dr. Ashish Chhitwal is a native of New Delhi, India, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in Biology. After completion of his undergraduate studies, he went on to study at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his Doctorate in Optometry. He completed his Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio, where he specialized in the treatment of and management of complex ocular diseases

Dr. Rohini Mehta (B.S., O.D.) has been in practice for nearly a decade, having worked in various clinical settings in Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, New York City, and Washington DC, gathering a wealth of broad-range experience. Dr. Mehta earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York in Manhattan. While finishing her doctorate degree, she participated in a volunteer mission to Nicaragua, where she provided eye care services, glasses, and eye medications to underprivileged children and adults. Her clinical interests are ocular disease, contact lenses, and refractive surgery co-management.

Dr. Edie Cheung grew up in Philadelphia. She speaks Cantonese fluently and can also communicate in Hakka Chinese. Dr. Cheung holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Information Technology from Drexel University and a Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has a special interest in ocular diseases and is passionate about caring for the overall health of her patients. Dr. Cheung has volunteered her time to provide eye care services for the Special Olympics and participated in a mission trip to Jamaica, where she performed eye exams and treated citizens who lacked easy access to eye care.

Dr. AnnMarie DeSando is an eye doctor in Arlington, VA, originally from Fredericksburg, VA. She completed her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary, before attending the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. While completing her doctorate degree, she completed clinical rotations at East Boston Community Health Center and Boston Medical Center. After completing optometry school, Dr. DeSando completed her residency with the Hudson Valley Veterans Affairs Health Care System in New York , specializing in primary care optometry and ocular disease.

Dr. Fred E. Goldberg founded the McLean Eyecare Center in 1978. He is renowned in the field of optometry as a pioneer and expert in advanced contact lens care and a leader in expanding the availability of services, technologies, and treatments that other optometrists in Virginia have used in their respective practices. Dr. Goldberg has dedicated his career to providing access to high-quality care to all and educating his patients and the community at large on the role of proper vision care in sustaining overall physical health. Doctors of many different specialties regularly refer patients to Dr. Goldberg for his expertise in handling complicated eyecare conditions. In his dedication to promoting visual welfare, Dr. Goldberg has conducted multiple humanitarian missions to third-world countries to donate eye care services to disadvantaged citizens.

Dr. Eveena Mahal graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a B.S. in Psychology. She continued her education at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. In addition to working in primary eye care, she also has experience working at a LASIK surgery center. She has also participated in volunteer health brigades in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Honduras.

Undergraduate degree in Biotechnology at James Madison University. NOVA Southeastern University for his doctorate in Optometry. His clinical interests include: managing dry eye disease, glaucoma, myopia control, and primary care optometry.

B.S. degree in neuroscience and studio arts from the College of William & Mary. Doctoral degree in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Stevens blends her in-depth knowledge with a personalized approach to eye care. She is passionate about helping patients experience the world more clearly, offering tailored solutions that address their unique visual needs.

Dr. Viviana Varela graduated from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR) with a B.S. in General Biology. She then completed her doctorate degree in Optometry at the IAUPR School of Optometry. She has gained experience in various clinical settings in Puerto Rico, Florida, and Virginia. Dr. Varela is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist with experience providing comprehensive eye care. Known for her commitment to patient education, Dr. Varela works closely with each individual to ensure their vision and ocular health needs are met with personalized care. Her clinical interests are ocular disease, contact lens fittings, and management of dry eye syndrome.

Dr. Alan Wong is an optometrist in Woodbridge who grew up in northern Virginia. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, then traveled to Texas for his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

B.S. in Chemistry – Virginia Commonwealth University B.S. in Biology and Doctor of Optometry degree – Pennsylvania College of Optometry After graduating with his Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Walthall immediately began his private practice career in Annandale.
