Our Arlington, VA, eye doctor, Dr. Nisha Patel, is a native of Gastonia, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of North Carolina and her doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed her residency at Malcom Randall Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, where she specialized in the treatment and management of complex ocular diseases and also became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Patel practices full-scope primary care optometry in addition to fitting of contact lenses.
